The students at New Heights are finished school at noon every Friday so every Friday afternoon, AAFS takes the kids from New Heights out for some fun in the community.

Swimming at Village Square
Both of our swim groups will swim at the same time.
Drop off in pool lobby at 11:30 am, Pick Up in same spot at 3:00 pm
Activity Fee- $5-8 for pool admission, $6-8 may be sent for lunch or a bag lunch may be sent
Please send extra money ($2-$5) for a tube or lifejackets.
Movie at Westhills
Its cold outside there are plenty of great movies out. We will head to Westhills to see a movie today.
We will meet just inside the "back" entrance of Westhills at 11:30 am, pick up will be at 3:00 pm.

Computer Night
Computer Night every 2nd Monday throughout the school year. You can come play games with your friends, do your homework, design your own video games or just come hang out. We do have the newest verson of GameMaker7 now.
We will be in the lab from 6:00- 9:00 and you are welcome to come anytime in that time frame and stay as long or as short as you like.
We do have a wireless connection in our office so you are welcome to bring your laptops.
Girls Club - Spa Night
Tonight we will be hanging out at the clubhouse with Kimberely for a fabulous spa night - there will be manicures, pedicures, and a mask facial... and plenty of girl talk and good music. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Wing Night!
This event is for only those 18 years and older, please be sure you have proper ID.
The Reagle Beagle has some of the best wings in Calgary and it is always a great night for wing night. Come on down to the Reagle Beagle and join us for some wings, a cocktail and time with friends.
Art Club
Our Visual Art Club was a huge success and the Art work created was incredible. We have paints, canvasses, brushes, markers, water color pencils and anything else you would need to create the next Masterpiece.

Monster Jam
An annual event that gets bigger every year! The show is well worth putting up with the noise!
We will meet at the Chinook LRT station at 1:00 and return to the C-train at 5:00 pm
Ticket- $25
C-Train- $3 or $5
Snacks at the dome- approximately $5 per snack item

Olympic Hockey- Canada vs USA
We will meet at Chinook Center at 5:00 pm between Chapters and the Theatre entrance. Wear your Canadian colours as we cheer on Team Canada vs USA!

Anime Night
Tonight all Anime enthusiasts meet at the clubhouse for Anime Movies, drawing our own Anime characters, and plenty of Anime talk. If you have an Anime movie that you would like to share feel free to bring it along!
Please also remember that anything brought to a club night at AAFS is brought to share.
There is a $5 Clubhouse fee for that night.

Winter Fun Day
The Bower family has invited us to their house to go tabaggoning, play video games, maybe a snowball fight and have some hot chocolate. We will likley order pizza or something for lunch.
We will meet at Chinook LRT at 10:45 am and head out as a group. The Bower's live in Priddis Greens, let us know if you would like to drop off there. We will be back at Chinook LRT at 3:15 pm.
Please send $10 for lunch and snacks.

Gymnastics
LAAFS (ages 7-12) and AAFS (Ages 13) will enjoy the Gym (Stampede City Gym Club Website) and lunch together today. Everyone can come to the Gym from 10:30 am and head for lunch to Boston Pizza at 2767 32nd Avenue, NE for pick up at 1:30 pm.

Our Lady of Lourdes kids and youth get out of school at 12 pm on Wednesdays so Wednesday afternoons, AAFS takes kids and youth from OLOL out for some fun in the community. Hitmen Hockey
The Hitmen only have a few games left before the playoffs start and they begin their run to the Memorial Cup. Today they take on the Saskatoon Blades, another top WHL team. It should be a great game.
We will meet at the Chinook LRT station at 1:00 pm and return there at 5:00 pm.
