Sexual Education Series

Over the past few years, Calgary Sexual Health and AAFS have built a strong
partnership. This spring we will continue this partnership by providing a
comprehensive education series for all of our families.

Youth Sessions These sessions are for youth ages 14 and older; you may inquire about younger attending.

Each session will break down like this: 

Program:     6:30-7:00play games, free time

                        7:00-8:00 sexual health education

                        8:00-8:30play games,free time

There will also be time for youth to engage each other in conversation and one:one
conversation with CSHC facilitator. All sessions held at the AAFS office.

Wednesday March 10: Introduction to CSHC, Sexuality
Brainstorm, Question Box

Wednesday March 17: Intro to Circles, Anatomy

Wednesday March 24: Boundaries, Relationships, Sexual Decision-making, Abstinence, Consent

Wednesday March 31: When people decide to have sex-
Consent, Pregnancy Prevention & STI’s

Wednesday April 7:  Sexual Orientation- terminology, Q&A

*There is no additional fee for sessions, only fee is standard respite fee.
