This program is designed for our youth 16+ who have a sense of
independence and are looking for a space to hang out with
friends on a Friday or Saturday night, just like any young adult!
These nights will be minimally staffed
.
For the most part, the youth will
meet up each week and decide from week to week what they would like to do as
a group.
The program is structured to allow plenty of opportunity for freedom, and
to practice social thinking in a natural social environment. The program
strives to encourage social thinking so youth can learn to engage each other
without facilitation, and have social recreational needs met as adolescents
and young adults. Our goal is for them to not need AAFS in order to meet
these needed.
If you have any questions regarding this program you can e-mail,
Michelle Allen
