Safety First

The health, safety and well-being of AAFS' Members, staff, guests and the community remains our top priority.

Please do your part and do not visit the clubhouse if you feel sick.

How can you protect yourself?

The Coronavirus causes infections of the nose, throat and lungs and is most commonly spread from an infected person through:
  • Respiratory droplets generated when you cough or sneeze
  • Close, prolonged personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands
  • Touching something with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose or eyes before washing your hands
We encourage all members to engage in preventative measures as outlined:
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
  • Stay home if you are sick
  • When coughing or sneezing:
    • Cover your mouth and nose with your arm or tissues to reduce the spread of germs
    • Immediately dispose of any tissues you have used into the garbage as soon as possible and wash your hands afterwards

Additional ways our team is helping

  • Cleaning regularly, especially in high traffic areas and high touchpoints
  • Wiping down and disinfecting surfaces
  • Providing access to hand sanitizer
  • Mandating that Team Members are to remain at home and away from others if sick
  • Helping guests maintain physical distancing of 2 metres while attending AAFS in-person programming
  • We ask that guests follow all signage and instructions while visiting an AAFS clubhouse, and while we cannot give handshakes or fist bumps, we still accept smiles!
