AAFS Friday: Flying Squirrel

Registration

  • If your child is age 13 and over, and your child has Work Related Child Care (WRCC) in their FSCD contract, you will be billed at a rate of $29.70/hour under Work Related Child Care (covered by FSCD).
  • Hourly Service Fee varies depending on PDD contract for Community Access or Respite hours. Registrants are billed a $15 daily program fee.
  • If your child does not have FSCD funding, or if they are age 13+ and do not have Work Related Child Care in their FSCD contract, you will be billed at a rate of $23.10/hour (covered by FSCD) plus a $15 daily program fee (covered by the family).
  • If your child is under the age of 13, you will be billed at a rate of $23.10/hour (under Respite or Work Related Child Care - covered by FSCD), plus a $15 daily program fee (covered by the family).

AAFS Friday: Flying Squirrel

Today AAFS is heading down to the Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park! This place has much more than just trampolines; there's an obstacle course, a dodge ball court, a foam pit, an arcade, as well as a laser maze!

Prior to participating inside Flying Squirrel, you must complete a waiver form which can be found here: Online Waiver   We will be attending the SOUTH location

Cost:

  • Admission: $8/hour + $3 gripping socks
  • Lunch: $10-15 (or bring a lunch from home)
  • 4 or 4.5 hours respite or community aide support (depending on drop-off location)
  • Program Fee: $15 (this fee will vary depending on age and funding)**

*Please note: AAFS will be able to accommodate a New Heights pick up by bus at 12:00pm. We will then travel to our scheduled destination as a group. If you do not attend New Heights, please arrange to be dropped off at the AAFS Clubhouse (AAFS South Clubhouse (Unit #220, 8228 Macleod Trail SE, above Auto Value) by 11:30am.*

*If you are taking ACCESS Calgary, please book your pick up window at the AAFS Clubhouse starting at 4:00pm*

Please remember AAFS is a nut free environment! Please do not send your child with any snacks containing nuts! If you consume nuts prior to an AAFS activity, please wash your hands and brush your teeth!

All AAFS Programs come with a Fee for Service which is classified as respite, community aide support, community access or work related child care and is covered by FSCD and PDD (Family Managed Contracts. If you do not have FSCD or PDD funding, please contact Dean Svoboda- dean@aafscalgary.com

Please remember that we do have a 48 hour cancellation policy in place to allow for adequate time to fill empty activity spaces from our waitlists and otherwise the respite charge will still be billed if the 48 hour notice requirement is not met.
