AAFS BBQ and Meet and Greet

Please note: this is NOT an activity, while staff will be having fun with the members we are not watching them and are not responsible for their safety.

Come and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with AAFS staff and other AAFS families, we will have a fire pit for cooking hot dogs, a gazebo with lego and art supplies, and various lawn games for entertainment. This is a fantastic chance to socialize with other families and connect with the staff members who coordinate the activities.

We'll have plenty of entertainment, including a fire pit for cooking hot dogs, various lawn games, and a gazebo stocked with art supplies and LEGO. Staff volunteering their time will run activities both in and out of the gazebo and you will be able to meet our regular staff members. 

If you wish to participate in the hot dogs please register so we can make sure we have enough food for everyone, food will be bought based on how many register. If you do not want hot dogs but would like to participate it is not necessary to register but it is very helpful to know numbers nonetheless.

If you wish to bring your own lawn chair, or food due to allergies or preferences please do. You are welcome whether you wish to eat the food provided or not.  Cups and plate will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Note on Allergies: Please be aware that horses reside in a nearby field. While they generally enjoy people, they will move away if bothered. There will also be hot dogs, buns, and all the usual additions. Feel free to bring your own food if you wish. 

If you need need an alternative food to Hot Dogs please reach out personally and we will see what we can organise.

Note on Volunteering: If you wish to man an activity table please reach out to the Rural Coordinator. There are plans for an art table and a Lego table to be available in the gazebo alongside our lawn games. If you have an idea you would like to bring please reach out and we can discuss!
