AAFS Calgary Adapted Hub Wheelchair Lacrosse

AAFS has been runnig an Adapted and Inlcusive Lacrosse Program since 2015. This Fall, in the spirit of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, we are collaborating with the

Calgary Adapted Hub powered by Jumpstart and Vivo to run an

All Ages WHEELCHAIR LACROSSE PROGRAM

This program will again be held at Vivo Calgary, 11950 Country Link NE, Calgary, AB, T3K 6E3, featuring professional coaches, state of the art equipment and sport wheelchairs. If you use a wheelchair in your day to day life or simply want to try The Medicine Game and Canada's National Summer Sport while using a sport wheelchair - EVERYONE IS WELCOME (IE- not Autism/AAFS Specific).

This program is open to anyone and everyone, no requirement to be an AAFS Member. Participants will enjoy the experience sport with real athletes and elite coaches as mentors. Newcomers will be introduced to lacrosse in a way they can be successful with, and, those who have played before will continue their journey.

This program will be run with all safety protocols in mind.

All equipment will be provided and outside of great memories and some new friends and skills, participants will have something pretty cool to take away at the end of the program.

Cost:

  • Program Fee: $120
  • Respite Fee- 2 hours (this fee is only if you require support, AAFS will not be providing full respite support for this Community Program. Please note on the registration form if you require Support from an AAFS Staff)
